The Acorn restaurant is arguably the jewel in the crown! If you've forgotten what good food tastes like, you've come to the right place to re-acquaint your taste buds with real flavour! We offer an extensive menu with an emphasis on home cooking. Our cakes and sweets are to die for, but if you're watching those calories, a low fat option is available. Quality, taste and service are the by-words at The Millers. Our restaurant is fully licensed and offers gourmet dining evenings or a venue for your own special occasion. Morning coffee, lunches and afternoon teas are served daily. Booking is usually advisable for this busy restaurant where eating is a great experience.

Day I Found It

I found "Millers" about 3 1/2 years ago when taking my mum and mum-in-law out for Mothers Day. There is a lovely shop and delicatessen. When you sit at the table and look out the windows, there are bird boxes and bags of nuts hanging which attracts lots of little birds like siskins, finches and blue tits and this absolutely delights us all. Also, Millers make excellent food but especially huge pancakes which are cooked to order. Yum - yum!
