A pretty little restaurant in the Castle itself serving good food made with local produce. Our cakes are made every day, the carrot cake is legendry, and our scones are well worth sampling, especially with cream and strawberry jam.

Day I Found It

My wife and I visited the Laird's Kitchen at the castle for lovely home baking and very pleasant staff, visiting the 11th century castle and nearby markettown of Turriff with a lot of individually owned shops. Makes a very interesting day out, although it is not far from our home, it still feels like a million miles away.
