Day I Found It

Inviting, cheerful place situated centrally in the lovely town of Dunkeld which includes a signposted historic town walk. The café is surrounded by 12th century cathedral, art gallery, craft, hardware, book and grocery shops. A seven mile varied walk around the Perthshire countryside took my mum, sister and partner to the Hermitage Folly and waterfalls, tallest Douglas Fir in Britain, 1000 year old oak tree in Burnham Woods and Beatrix Potter gardens. It was a pleasure to return to this friendly cafe with great coffee, greater cakes and pastries, which caters for dietary needs. (I even painted my hallway the same colours on returning from my holiday!)
