Day I Found It

My partner and I were on our first walking holiday together and walked from Pitlochry on a beautiful bright October day, enjoying the changing autumn colours, the wonderful scenery and each others company. After passing the Soldiers Leap, we headed to the Killiecrankie Visitor Centre. In need of refreshment, we spotted the small cafe next to the centre. It was such an excellent day we enjoyed a hearty bowl of soup and cakes outside at the picnic tables - a brilliant setting. Satisfied we headed back towards Pitlochry for the return leg of the walk. Four years on we are still walking, still talking and still eating cake!!
