Day I Found It

This was a special re-discovery to view the pink-footed geese at close by Vane Farm. When I worked at college, I popped up to Butterchurn on Kelty Kinross Road for excellent bar lunches. It has changed hands and is now The Kathellan. I take all my visitors there. Food is decidedly top quality - coffee / cakes (home baked) unsurpassed as is the gift shop and animals (sheep breeds etc) for the kids (little and big!) to feed. View of the Loch Leven where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned in the Island Castle - chilling, moving, beautiful.
