Day I Found It

My husband and I were out for a drive to enjoy the beautiful scenery through The Mill Trail. We had our baby son with us who incidentally we named Andrew after the patron saint of Scotland. We stopped in Dollar Glen mid-morning and walked the trails to see the "Gloom" (cleft in the rocks) for which Castle Campbell was originally named. We stepped back in time into the castle cafe for a light lunch and chatted with some other friendly visitors. Then we took our cakes into the castle's beautiful garden with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Would love to go again!
