Day I Found It

It was a rare long summers day and we decided to take a walk from Cottonside Twinging Bridge, around and back to Melrose, with my husband, daughter and two Border Terriers happily scampering along the meandering river. Upon arrival in Melrose the rare summer sunshine had gotten the best of us so we decided to take a small detour to "100 Aker Wood". We where all made welcome and settled into seats outside enjoying the last of the days sunshine over the Eildon Hills! What a view! Beautiful!! Truly what postcards are made of with the falling sun casting a shadow over the hills. The dogs happily panting at our feet with a bowl of locally supplied Melrose water. My husband and myself enjoying a freshly prepared cappuccino and to watch our daughter tuck into her home made scone and ... More...
freshly squeezed orange juice. You can keep your holiday aboard. Scotland is truly where the heart is. Perfect!!! Back...
